Welcome to drugfree.earth. This website and the Being Drug Free ® Poster Design Challenge are operated by Being Drug Free ®, a sole proprietorship owned by Vijay Karthik Acharya ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing this website, registering for the Challenge or making a payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About us
Being Drug Free ® and Drug Free India are initiatives owned by Vijay Karthik Acharya, working on drug prevention through events, education and community engagement. The brands are managed by the Vijay Karthik Acharya Foundation, a registered Trust. The campaign is run with our partners team I and The Event League, who work with Being Drug Free ® as Event Partner for outreach, events and activations.
2. The Challenge and registration
The Being Drug Free ® Poster Design Challenge invites participants to create and submit a poster on the campaign theme. Registration is completed online at drugfree.earth on payment of the registration fee. You are responsible for giving accurate details at registration.
3. Fees and payment
The registration fee is ₹99 for an individual entry and ₹499 for a group entry of up to 6 members, inclusive of applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise on our Pricing page. Registration payments are collected by Being Drug Free ® through our payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials. Voluntary donations to the cause are handled separately by the Vijay Karthik Acharya Foundation.
4. Eligibility and categories
The Challenge is open to participants across categories that we may introduce from time to time, such as school and college students, and later amateurs, professionals and persons with disability. Where a participant is a minor, registration must be made with the consent of a parent or guardian.
5. Submissions and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the poster you create. By entering, you grant Being Drug Free ® a non exclusive, royalty free licence to display, reproduce and use your entry for the Being Drug Free ® campaign and its awareness activities, with due credit where practical. You confirm your entry is your own original work and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Code of conduct
Entries and conduct must be lawful and respectful. We may disqualify any entry or registration that is offensive, plagiarised, misleading or in breach of these Terms, without a refund.
7. Changes and cancellation
We may update, reschedule or cancel the Challenge or any activity where necessary. If we cancel an activity, our Refund and Cancellation Policy applies.
8. Limitation of liability
The website and the Challenge are provided on a reasonable efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, Being Drug Free ® is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation or from use of this website.
9. Third party links
This website may link to third party sites and services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction.
